Having a Good Day?
I always try to have a conversation with Buddy during our ride into school each morning. The ride takes almost half an hour so sometimes I’m at a loss for topics. This was one of those mornings. So I proceeded to ask Buddy the simple question: “Are you going to have a good day today?”
“I always have a good day at school mom.”
Outwardly I just smile at him and say that is great. To myself, I am thinking “Please remember that when you’re a teenager.”
